About Us

Hagerstown Aviation Academy is a growing flight school that is dedicated to providing its students with affordable, quality training in aviation that is tailored to their personal needs.

Whether you want to fly for pleasure or are considering a career in aviation, we can provide you with the skills necessary to fulfill your dreams.

Both Private Pilot Certificate and Instrument Rating training programs are offered at this time, with future plans to add the Commercial and Certified Flight Instructor Certificates. We also offer new ground school courses every 8 weeks for both Private Certificate and Instrument students.

When you complete your training, you can take all your FAA written examinations in our CATS Written Testing Center.

If you already have your Private Certificate, we also offer aircraft rentals.

For fun, our academy offers sightseeing flights and discovery rides, a perfect way to spend an afternoon! Let us take you and a friend on an aerial tour of the Antietam Battlefield, Fort Frederick, or over the area of your choosing. Don’t forget to bring your camera!
