About Us

Hagerstown Aviation Academy is a flight school that is dedicated to providing its students with affordable, quality training in aviation that is tailored to their personal needs.

 Whether you want to fly for pleasure or are considering a career in aviation, we can provide you with the skills necessary to fulfill your dreams.

We provide flight training for the Recreational Pilot, Private Pilot, Commercial Pilot and Air Transport Pilot Certificates.  We also provide training for the Instrument Rating and Certified Flight Instructor Ratings. 

We offer ground school courses approximately every three months for Private, Commercial and Instrument students.

If you already have your Private Certificate, we also offer rentals in our diverse fleet of aircraft.

For fun, we offer sightseeing flights and discovery rides, a perfect way to spend an afternoon! Let us take you and a friend on an aerial tour of the Antietam Battlefield, Fort Frederick, or over the area of your choosing. Don’t forget to bring your camera!
